Pam Amatucci
About this Service
I have a graduate degree in Social Work from The University of South Carolina College of Social Work and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of South Carolina, Spartanburg, with over 20 years of experience in individual, couples, and group therapy. My expertise resides in the management of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, anger, ADHD, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, and stress. Treatment modalities consist mainly of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. I also pull skills from Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe people, in general, are doing the best they can with the knowledge and resources they have. If they’re struggling in life, it’s likely because they lack the skill set necessary to achieve a more balanced sense of well-being. I work with individuals from 16 years of age on up, helping them gain balance in life by teaching skills based on each client’s individual treatment goals.
