Lenore Senior
About this Service
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with more than 15 years of experience. My specialty was grief and loss counseling as a hospice worker prior to founding The Center for Grief and Loss Counseling and Education in Pueblo for five years prior to starting private practice in 2010. Since moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2018, I’ve had a small private practice plus working part-time for TalkSpace as I continued to care for my partner of 30+ years due to numerous debilitating health issues. For the past three years, I have expanded my knowledge base to handle a wide variety of mental health issues, including depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship problems, etc.
My work is very warm and intuitive with my approach being eclectic, but especially using humanistic, attachment theory, schema therapy, Gestalt, and cognitive behavior therapy. I believe in the power of healing and that it may very well begin with the client-counselor relationship. I see myself as a mentor and advocate for the well-being and authenticity of each person I encounter in the therapeutic relationship. The power is within. You just need to be shown the way to let it shine!
