About this Service

Hello, I graduated from Texas A& M University-Commerce in 2012 in Community Counseling. I am a National Certified Counselor and am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and have been practicing in Texas for over 8 years. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Brief Therapy in my practice. My goal is to provide a genuine therapeutic relationship with each of my clients and help make them feel heard and respected, regardless of issue or struggle they are facing. that will enable them to make positive changes in their lives.

I have counseled individuals from 6 years to 99 years of age, as well as, counseled couples and families. I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and a strong supporter of equality in all of its aspects. I believe everyone is a person, and every person needs to be cared for, validated, and supported throughout whatever they are facing in their life. My preference is to focus on the LGBTQIA+ population, mainly because I do not think there is enough allies in the counseling field that have this preference in populations.

I have assisted clients with a wide rage of mental health issues, such as, depression, self-harm, anxiety, grief/loss, social competencies, anger, race, gender, sexuality, religion and end of life issues to name a few. My goal, every time is to be a support and assist clients to enable them to make positive changes in their lives.

I am honored to have been chosen and trusted by my clients to walk their path of change with them. It takes courage to seek advice/help/support when our lives are not working out the way we need them to, change is scary but necessary and the first step is always the scariest and the least certain you will feel, but there is power and strength in taking control back and choosing to make a change for the better.
