About this Service

It takes courage to seek help. I believe that every person can benefit from self-reflection and developing more effective ways to cope with the difficult parts of life. My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic. I strive to create collaborative therapeutic relationships with my clients with respect for each person’s autonomy and strength. My passion for helping others led me toward obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2011. In 2013, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over six years of experience working with young adults and adults in a PHP/IOP setting as well as in private practice. I aim to meet clients where they’re at with empathy and compassion. I have provided therapeutic support for people facing various mental health struggles, including anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. Utilizing skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy, I work to empower clients to make choices that align with their personal goals and values.

As a self-identified “Highly Sensitive Person” (Elaine Aron, 2012), I understand what it is like to feel deeply and be more attuned to the “subtleties” in my environment. I believe that many people seeking therapy have this strength as well and have also experienced the stigma that exists around this trait. I want people to know they are not alone and that feeling deeply, although painful at times, can also provide fullness to life. Some of the things that fill up my life are nature, animals, friends, family, movement, and creativity. I recently moved back to Colorado in hopes of connecting more with the outdoors and a peaceful lifestyle. I am grateful to be here and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a guide for you toward the life you want.
