About this Service

Hello! I am Kristen Acquilano, LCSWR. I am a licensed social worker and trauma counselor specializing in the field of mental wellness. I have 13 years of experience as a general practitioner in a community based outpatient mental health clinic providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy. In addition to clinic work, I am also employed as a mobile crisis clinician.

I have experience working with clients to help them overcome barriers related to life stressors, mental health symptoms, and emotional dysregulation to improve overall well being and functioning.

I generally employ a variety of treatment modalities, determined by individual needs, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I strive to do so in a manner that is client centered and honoring the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences of those I am privileged to partner with.
