Hi – I am a licensed therapist. Having worked in the behavioral health and occupational field for nearly a decade. My mission as a counselor is to help you navigate through life’s challenges and support you throughout the journey . I maintain a judgment-free space, a space that is challenging and comfortable, and a process that is enlightening as well as retrospective. Using a strengths-based perspective, I am able deploying personal strengths to aid recovery and empowerment to help you overcome obstacles in your life.
I take an individualized approach with each client, using solution-focused, Motivational Interviewing, and cognitive behavioral strategies. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, coping with life transitions and relationship issues, and career difficulties. I also have a strong background in teaching people how to use coping skills relating to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and confidence building. I also have a significant amount of experience assisting people build effective communication skills which are important in successful relationships, work environments and family situations.
