About this Service

Hi, my name is Flora and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas. I have over 8 years of experience working as a therapist. Much of my work has focused in treatment of various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, family conflict, substance abuse, victim sexual abuse, trauma, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, impulse control and life transitions. I’ve also worked several years with adolescents and at-risk youth. My approach is mainly focused through Client-Centered Therapy, and the way you hear it is mainly how it works. My focus will be on you, the client. I truly believe that by providing you a safe environment you will be able to gain some clarity in what may be causing you to feel overwhelmed and how to better work through your problems. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.
