About this Service

My name is Elizabeth, and I am a professional counselor licensed in both Colorado and Tennessee. I attended graduate school at the University of Denver and graduated with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, relational issues, substance abuse, trauma-related symptoms, and issues related to identity. I have counseled individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds, a few of which include people facing criminal charges, people who have dealt with severe and persistent mental illness, people on the verge of homelessness, people who are suicidal, people who are struggling with their sexuality, and more. I do not discriminate. I am a reliable, trustworthy source of help and guidance.

I want to applaud you for thinking about talking with a therapist. I assume that you are reading this because you are seeking to resolve issues in your life. This is a great place to start. If you choose to attend sessions with me, then you will find that I provide a positive, encouraging space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. I am a person-centered therapist, meaning that I allow you, as the client, to direct our sessions and discuss what you want to talk about. I operate from a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral perspective. I explore thoughts, feelings, and past experiences in an effort to help you gain insight into the issues that you face. I would love the opportunity to work with you and hope that I can be of help in achieving your goals.
