About this Service

Welcome to BetterHelp! Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Alicia A. Wells and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Georgia. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Jackson State University. I have 16 years’ experience providing therapeutic support to adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. I developed experience from various practice settings including Foster Care and Adoptions, physical and behavioral health inpatient and outpatient settings; as well as, Managed Care Organizations. I believe in a strengths based and client-centered approach. I encourage clients to freely explore their areas of concern without judgement while allowing me to provide insight, empowerment, encouragement and support. My purpose is to serve as a guide helping you recognize your accomplishments, growth and strengths.

Whether you’re concerned about making difficult life transitions, managing anxiety, stress and depression, in need of resources for Advance Care Planning and geriatric community resource s or life/job coaching…I’m here!

This leap of faith might be the scariest thing you’ve ever done, but you’re already in the perfect position to receive “BetterHelp.” Trust the process. It would be an honor to navigate this journey with you…
